Maeve and Aiden got married at the registry office in Adelaide's CBD with just their two closest friends as witnesses. Their one year old daughter was there too, and she was very keen to be part of the ceremony. She kept everyone laughing, including the celebrant.

It was a short, relaxed ceremony with no fuss, which is what they wanted.

Afterwards we walked over to North Terrace for some photos. There's a lot packed into that one stretch: old sandstone buildings, big timber doors, and green lawns. We got a portraits in front of the doors, a spontaneous dance on the grass, and some sweet moments with their daughter.

If you're planning a registry office wedding in Adelaide, a short walk to North Terrace after the ceremony is an easy way to get a full set of portraits without a long schedule.

I photograph small and intimate weddings around Adelaide. If that sounds like what you're planning, get in touch.
